Community Partners

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

A Simple Gesture (ASG) is a nonprofit hunger relief organization that collects food from generous donors. Some are neighbors, businesses and faith communities that fill green reusable grocery bags that are then collected by volunteers and distributed to our food pantry partners. Others are food industry businesses that participate in our Food Recovery Program.

Greater Vision Outreach offers food and clothing distribution, health and education programs, and referral and preventive services for vulnerable families in the community.

Working Wardrobe was created with the hope of enriching the lives of women and children challenged by clothing insecurity.

Daystar Life Center fights hunger, poverty, and hopelessness by providing the necessities of life to our neighbors in need. We strive to engage, educate, and empower the community by promoting the value of nutrition, good health, and financial literacy.

Our mission is "to serve, empower, and minister to guests in order to prevent and end hunger and homelessness through advocacy, education, housing, and coordination of services.” Our vision is "to alleviate the pain of homelessness and hunger by offering our neighbors hope and healing."

The City Mission empowers men, women, and children in crisis to overcome their unique, complex paths to homelessness. Because no one person’s needs are the same, we create individualized, comprehensive programs to assist residents in building their stabilized and independent futures. Our mission to reach hearts and change lives in Cleveland has not waivered since 1910, and we will continue to provide basic needs, critical recovery resources, and practical paths to a sustainable future to all seeking help and hope here.
